Summer Band Parent Meeting and "Money Night"
July 31 (Thursday) 7:00 PM in the Taylor Band Hall
All Taylor Band Parents are encouraged to attend this meeting. At this time, parents can meet the directors, and ask any questions they may have about the upcoming school year. This is also the perfect opportunity to meet and join the Taylor Band Booster Club. H&H Music Company will be here to sell all essential Taylor Band accessories ( see Taylor Band Required Equipment List). This meeting will also provide parents with an opportunity to pay for all (or a portion) of their student's
2008-09 band fees at one time.
Full Band, Color Guard and Percussion Camp
Aug. 4-15 (Mon.-Fri. both weeks with no weekend rehearsal)
This camp is required for All Band, Color Guard and Percussion
8:00-12:00 Marching Basics/Learn Competition Show
12:00-1:30 Lunch Break
1:30-5:00 Indoor Music Rehearsal
Movie Night
August 8 (after Friday summer band camp)
This is not a required event, but it is a lot of fun.

7:00 PM - Movie in the LGI
Summer Band Family Picnic
August 15 (after Friday summer band camp) 6:00 PM - Parent Meeting in Cafeteria/Students on Practice Field
6:30 PM - Band Performance for Parents Outside
7:00 PM - Hot Dog Picnic for Everyone in the Cafeteria
8:00 PM - 9:30 PM - DJ Dance in the Cafeteria
Summer Band Evening Rehearsals August 19-21 (Tues.-Thurs.) 5:00 PM-8:00 PM
Due to staff development sessions for teachers during the day, we will have our last three Summer Band rehearsals in the evening.
